Be a bit leery.

Regular price on the net is $260-290.

40.3 pounds screams "Chinese!" at the top of it's lungs.

And sure enough, blow up the PDF at EAW and on the back is "Made in China"

Eaw is now Loud Technologies, which is Mackie renamed.

Tapco Juice amps (Mackie) are Sekaku made clones of the QSC RMX. But lower quality.

So this is a little cheaper than a Behringer, way less power, and prolly not as good.

Probably a decent amp, just proceed with caution.

The company I work for in New Zealand was bought last year by a Taiwanese company with a lot of ties and branches in mainland China. It is the single most painful part of my life. Much more pain than teenagers, divorce court, an ex-wife, and losing 20% of my pre-tax income (as required by law).
